It's not only our next gathering, it's our last gathering this year. So come wring the last ounce of goodness out of 2010 by learning to make a wooden bow or arrows with us out at the Pasadena Arroyo.
And if you can't make it out there, here's a post on using epoxy to glue on your own arrow tips so you can make new arrows, or fix broken tips. Greenman Archery: Gluing Arrow Tips with Epoxy.
Unless you are one of those perfect archers that never breaks off a tip.

This blog is inspired by the group Paleo Planet over here: http:www.paleoplanet.net It is a wealth of information for all of you do-it-yourselfers out there who would love to make your own bow or atlatl. It's an online forum with members all over the world. All photos and content copyright Fayme Harper 2009-2012.

Paleoplanet Gathering Photos
It turned out we had our gathering after all at the Arroyo Seco archery range. The rain didn't start until about 2 so up until then it was business as usual for us with people doing knapping, bow making, atlatl throwing, archery and some pretty cool stuff. I was the only one with a camera so here are some of the photos I took.

Postponement Possible
It looks like Mr. Weather is not going to cooperate. Tom is talking about postponing the meeting until next Sunday. So before you drive out there be sure to check http://www.paleoplanet.net/ for the lastest info. Unless you live in Pasadena and it's no big deal to look out your window and see if it's raining.
